September AVA Membership Gathering – Beading for Peace with Rita Lowinske

Join us for the next Antigo Visual Arts (AVA) Membership Gathering on Tuesday, September 24, from 6:00–7:00 PM at the AVA Art Center, where Rita Lowinske will introduce members to the inspiring Toho Bead Peace Ring Project. As a representative of the Upper Midwest Bead Society, Rita will share how AVA is collaborating with Team TOHO—a nonprofit dedicated to promoting peace through the art of beading—by hosting monthly Peace Ring workshops leading up to the grand worldwide connection event in August 2026. Learn how you can participate in this global movement by creating your own unique peace ring using TOHO beads, in any stitch or style. Whether you’re a beading enthusiast or new to the art, this project is open to all levels and encourages creativity in the name of unity and peace.
