AVA Membership Gathering – Rock Drilling Demo

Join us for our next AVA Membership Gathering featuring Eric DeHart, AVA’s Visual Arts Director of Membership. Eric will lead an informative and hands-on presentation on drilling rocks for artistic use, using tools like a Dremel and drill press.

The session will cover essential topics including:

• Safety tips and best practices

• Choosing the right drill bits

• Where to purchase tools and supplies (including recommendations from Amazon)

If time allows, Eric will also touch on techniques for drilling glass bottles. Whether you’re new to this creative process or looking to refine your skills, this is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced artist and connect with fellow members.
