Description:

Often considered to be a “lost art”, there has been a recent resurgence in the art of tatting. While most people think of traditional lace doilies, tatting has become much more prevalent and creative, as instructor Kim Schoenrock will share.

On November 5th we will learn the basics of tatting- creating stitches, closing rings and tatting chains. You can go home and continue to work on this.

On November 19th optional, additional time will be offered for follow up, further help with joining and reading patterns, etc.

This class is recommended for ages 12 and up. Due to the tiny nature of this process, class size is limited to three people.

If there is enough interest, we will look ahead to offering additional tatting classes, so keep your eyes open for future postings.

Note that there is not fee for the class if you provide your own shuttle and crochet cotton.
