October Membership Gathering: Not Just for the Kids – Art as Play

Not Just for the Kids: Art as Play

What if we gave ourselves permission to play with art again?

Join us for a fun, hands-on exploration of art projects often thought of as “just for kids,” and discover how creativity, experimentation, and play can inspire artists of every age. We’ll get messy with shaving cream and liquid watercolors, create colorful lizards using pony beads and cording, and revisit the simple joy of finger painting with acrylic and tempera paints.

This interactive program is an opportunity to step away from the pressure to create the “perfect” artwork and instead embrace curiosity, experimentation, and fun. Come ready to play, make, and rediscover the joy of creating simply for the sake of creating!
