AVA March Membership Gathering & Business Meeting

Antigo Visual Arts (AVA) members are invited to attend a Business Meeting prior to our March Membership Gathering. This meeting will provide important updates and allow members to participate in discussions and voting on key organizational matters.

Business Meeting Agenda Highlights include:

• Proposed changes to the AVA Bylaws for member vote
• Brief overview of current and upcoming activities
• Review of AVA’s current financial status
• Discussion of goals and planning priorities
• Preliminary look at the 2026 budget
• Membership status update, including paid/unpaid dues
• Sharing of our 2024–2025 retrospective photo flyer

Following the Business Meeting, we’ll transition into our AVA Membership Gathering, featuring a special hands-on presentation by Eric DeHart, AVA’s Visual Arts Director of Membership.

Featured Demonstration: Rock Drilling for Artistic Use

Eric DeHart will lead an informative and practical demonstration on drilling rocks for artistic applications. Using tools such as a Dremel and drill press, Eric will cover:

• Safety tips and best practices
• Selecting the proper drill bits
• Where to purchase tools and supplies (including Amazon recommendations)
• Tips for getting started and refining your technique

If time allows, Eric will also touch on techniques for drilling glass bottles. This session is ideal for both beginners and experienced artists interested in expanding their creative skills while connecting with fellow AVA members.
