We are thrilled to introduce Ada Demlow as the new Director of the Antigo Visual Arts (AVA) Art Center. With a wealth of experience in library and arts administration, Ada is perfectly poised to lead our center into a vibrant new chapter.

  1. Diverse Administrative Experience: Ada brings over two decades of administrative and leadership experience, notably her recent role as Library Director at Antigo Public Library. Her proven track record in managing a multi-faceted organization and overseeing day-to-day operations will seamlessly translate into her new role at AVA. At the library, Ada adeptly managed a team, increased engagement, and optimized operations—all skills that will benefit her as she manages art classes, facility upkeep, and community partnerships at AVA.
  2. Strong Community Engagement: During her tenure as Youth Services Librarian and Library Director, Ada demonstrated exceptional community engagement. Her innovative projects, like the community bedtime stories initiative and partnerships with local organizations, align perfectly with AVA’s goal to collaborate with community groups like 4H and the Boys and Girls Club. Ada’s experience in fostering community connections will help expand our outreach and enhance the center’s presence in Antigo.
