ANTIGO, WI — Antigo Visual Arts recently celebrated local artists and their artwork at the Autumn Hues in Harmony Art Exhibit & Sale reception held Thursday, September 24, at the AVA Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Langlade County Historical Museum at 404 Superior Street in Antigo.
The reception brought together local artists, community members, art supporters, and visitors for an evening celebrating the variety and talent of area artists. Guests had the opportunity to view the artwork, meet artists, enjoy refreshments, and participate in the celebration.
John Rhode, Langlade County Circuit Court Judge, attended the reception and shared, “It was a wonderful evening with beautiful newly created artwork from local artists on display to a quite crowded gallery. A delicious assortment of hot and cold appetizers was also enjoyed by all.”
Reception attendee Joy Sima also shared her thoughts, saying, “Art show last night was great as always! Such a variety of talent shown. Looking forward to the next one!”
Awards were presented during the reception to recognize artists and their work.

The Autumn Hues in Harmony exhibit will remain on display through November 12. The community is encouraged to visit the AVA Art Gallery to enjoy the artwork and support local artists.
The AVA Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Langlade County Historical Museum at 404 Superior Street in Antigo. The exhibit may be viewed during regular museum business hours.
